Overview

Shaped by the sun, softened by the sea.

Designed for a private island in the Maldives, these villas are a masterclass in blending architecture with nature. The structures are thoughtfully positioned to harness sea breezes and natural light, creating an environment that feels both open and sheltered.

What struck me most was the use of bamboo in the construction. Whilst adding a tactile warmth to the villas, it's also sustainable. The design doesn't just sit on the beach; it interacts with it, allowing the villas to 'breathe' with their surroundings.

It's a beautiful yet powerful reminder of how architecture can harmonise with its environment.
