At home in its surroundings.

Set on the Noosa River, Witta Circle is a family home that feels grounded, open and effortlessly resolved. Every element, from material choices to how light and air move through the space feels intentional but unforced. It’s not trying to be impressive, and yet that’s what makes it so.

Rather than dominating its site, the house settles into it.

The connection between inside and out is seamless, with landscape, water and sky drawn into the architecture. Courtyards and cascading greenery soften the form, creating moments of calm throughout.

Natural materials do much of the heavy lifting and are key to the home's character and unmistakably Shaun. The board-formed concrete, timber and stone are used with confidence and restraint. Even the pool plays a role, doubling as a light that reflects shifting patterns to the space below.

More than just a house on the river, Witta Circle is a masterclass in designing with climate and place. Laid-back in spirit and layered in thought, it feels completely at ease in its surroundings.
