The simplicity of up-cycling.

Quercus is a simple, thoughtful response to the question of how we make better objects. Not just aesthetically, but ethically. At it's core, Quercus is a wine-bottle attached to a curved piece of wood and it is this simplicity that makes it so spectacular.

The lamp’s curved frame is steam-bent from reclaimed white oak offcuts. The kind of timber that usually ends up in a fireplace. It’s locally sourced, untreated, and shaped using nothing but water and time.

Its glass shade is the top half of a wine bottle — cut clean, frosted, and softened to give a warm, diffused glow. A low-energy LED bulb keeps power use minimal. And from the glue-free assembly to the recyclable parts, there’s a clearly effort here to make something that feels good now and later.
