Sometimes the best branding projects feel like they could only exist for that one client, and Murmure's work for EXO Architectes is exactly that kind of perfect match.
The name "EXO" comes directly from the concept of exo-skeleton (the outer structure). When you look at this identity, it just fits the brand so well. It's perfectly structural and in tune with the firm it represents.
This brand is wonderfully tactile. The idea of using paper as a building material isn't metaphor, it was literally the foundation of the design process. Light, perspective, and depth, all achieved with die-cuts and contrast.
This is identity design done right. Exo-llent.
Murmure: “The founding principles of this visual identity lie in the design of volumes through light and notions of perspective, of materials and of fundamental elements. We studied paper as building materials: the artistic directors became architects and graphic designers became project managers.”
