Overview

Mariel Clayton’s plastic crime scenes are the kind of thing that makes you look closer, laugh a little, then wonder whether you’ve just booked a seat on the express train to therapy. Seriously.

Picture Barbie in her pastel dream house, but don't think home-maker, think of a scene mid-sequence of a Tarantino film. It's racey Dexter and uncomfortable and a bit 'Oh my goodness' captivating car-crash, can't stop looking fun! In short, it’s a sugar-coated slap in the face that makes you laugh, gasp and maybe lock the doll cabinet, just in case.

It's not strictly NSFW, though you might second guess your choice if you were caught browsing her work with colleagues around. There would be a lot 'no wait, I'm just.., it's not what you think!".
