Overview

The Alfieri concept car was unveiled by Maserati at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show for the 100-year anniversary of Maserati.

Inspired by the Maserati A6 GCS/54 and named after Alfieri Maserati (1887 - 1932), the namesake of the Italian car manufacturer.

Maserati:

“It was Tuesday, December 1st, 1914, when Alfieri, Ettore and Ernesto Maserati opened their workshop on Via de’ Pepoli 1 in Bologna. The name of the company was “Societa’ Anonima Officine Alfieri Maserati”. The war interrupted their activities but not their aspirations; they returned from the front unscathed and more creative than ever.”
