Overview

Type inspired!

Jerome Beguier (also known as Zics) and Malet Thibaut collaborated to create some seriously cool typographic wooden Spray Cans. It's a project that flips the script on street art's fast-and-ready reputation, slowing things down and giving it a tactile and almost traditional feel.

Commissioned by Acrylicize for The Office Group in London, these wooden cans feature motivational quotes like "Work it" and "Thoughts become things," giving a bit of punch to co-working spaces without going full cheesy poster mode. Malet hand-carves each can in the South of France, while Beguier brings his type to life from London, laser-engraving the finishing touch.

It's a great collab and the kind of art + craftmanship that a creative space needs.
