Project Information

When the wind paints a bike.

Festka teamed up with Czech illustration duo Tomski & Polanski to build a bike around the idea of wind. Not in a literal way, but as a kind of invisible theme. They aim to capture its freshness, spontaneous power and the shifting colours of the sky. The bike is about feeling light and open which is a nice approach for a city bike that could have leaned into utility.

The hand-painted swooshes and bird graphics are subtle but full of movement. They’re clean, thoughtful, and give the frame just enough personality without overdoing it. The colour choice is an interesting take as well. It is intentionally anchored to the Czech national colours, but taken a step further with the internal nickname 'Captain Czech Republic'. A playful and fun nod to both Superheroes and patriotism.

If you're into bikes, it really is still a proper Festka and not just a piece of branding. It has a high-performance carbon frame, no-chain carbon belt drive and the kind of build that takes on its namesake.

It’s always nice when a bike doesn’t beg for attention but still earns it on a second look. This one does exactly that.
