Overview

Calligraphy, but make it human.

This is a quiet collaboration between photographer and calligrapher Stéphane Alfonsi. It's a a study of gesture, texture, and what happens when ink moves across skin.

It borrows from Shodo, the Japanese art of calligraphy, where movement matters as much as mark.

There’s a softness to it all. The kind that makes you slow down a bit, take a breath and just feel what’s in front of you.
