Darren Booth’s lettering sits somewhere between typography and collage. His work is layered with texture, bold brushwork and rich colour. The letterforms have a raw, handcrafted quality, making them feel a little more like paintings than just drawings on paper or a computer. They’re expressive, but always well-balanced.

What stands out in the letterforms is their looseness. Imperfect edges, shifting textures and unexpected colour choices. This 'roughness' lets the words breathe and the meaning to coming through with punch. It’s confident and tactile and unmistakably his.
