Daumkakao's identity for Buzz Launcher starts with an everyday truth: most of us change our socks more often than our phone wallpaper. Honestly, I can’t even remember the last time I updated my phone's wallpaper or ringtone. In fact, my phone has probably been on silent for the past eight years. But I digress.

That little morning ritual is the inspiration for the brand mark. It's literally a sock that is pretending to become a lowercase b.

The idea feels fun, but it also lands a neat metaphor for the Android launcher built around swapping 'home-packs' with the same ease you reach for a fresh pair in the morning.

It's friendly, low-tech branding that makes customisation feel approachable.
