Overview

When a pecan orchard needed branding that would last generations, Firmalt created something that feels more like a family crest than agricultural packaging.

Whilst personally, I really love old agricultural brands from the '60s to '80s, this one leans into its farming roots without getting stuck in a retro look. That's Albural. This Mexican pecan orchard isn't just planting trees, they're planting a multi-generational legacy, and Firmalt got that that from day one.

That logo pulls double duty as both a family tree symbol and a representation of the actual pecan trees, making it one of those rare marks that gets richer the more you know about it. But it's the secondary elements that really make this brand shine. The patterns come straight from real pecan shells. All these organic, stackable shapes that nest together across different touchpoints. They give the whole system this unexpected playfulness that you don't usually see in agricultural branding.

The colour palette sidesteps the expected agricultural greens and browns for something warmer and more approachable. It feels fresh without being trendy or disconnected from what they're actually growing.

The whole thing manages to be both timeless and totally current, which is exactly what you'd want for something meant to outlive us all.
